A top price for Morita Shiryū
The work So - Wilderness by Morita Shiryū was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 2,740,000.00 (€ 301,569.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. With this result, So - Wilderness is even the most expensive work of art by Morita Shiryū that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit So - Wilderness von Morita Shiryū kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 2.740.000,00 (€ 301.569,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist So - Wilderness sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Morita Shiryū, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
