The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Benares, Blue Is The Sky in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,189.42).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.912,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mortimer Luddington Menpes erzielen.
