Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Schoolwork by Nadia Benois was sold in the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction at Christies in London in February 2005. The price achieved of GBP 504.00 (€ 730.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Nadia Benois have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dieppe in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,383.81).

Die Arbeit Schoolwork von Nadia Benois wurde im Februar 2005 in der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 504,00 (€ 730,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nadia Benois auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dieppe im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.383,81).
