In the The Art of Nandalal Bose, Abanindranath Tagore and Rabindranath Tagore: The Supratik Bose Collection auction, the work Standing Figure Under A Kadam Tree sold for USD 52,500.00 (€ 38,788.33) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nandalal Bose - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bull Fighter, which sold at auction in September 2013 for USD 147,750.00 (€ 109,161.43).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Nandalal Bose erzielte im September 2013 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Art of Nandalal Bose, Abanindranath Tagore and Rabindranath Tagore: The Supratik Bose Collection wurde die Arbeit Standing Figure Under A Kadam Tree für USD 52.500,00 (€ 38.788,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nandalal Bose mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bull Fighter beobachtet, die im September 2013 für USD 147.750,00 (€ 109.161,43) versteigert wurde.
