Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Untitled (Bapuji) by Nandalal Bose was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2013. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,541.19) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nandalal Bose achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bull Fighter in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 147,750.00 (€ 109,161.43).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Untitled (Bapuji) von Nandalal Bose kam im September 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.541,19) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nandalal Bose erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bull Fighter im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 147.750,00 (€ 109.161,43).
