Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,600.00 (€ 10,818.24) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Narcisse Virgile Diaz de la Peña achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Old Windmill near Barbizon in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 176,227.08).
