In the Old Master & British Pictures (Evening Sale) auction, the work L'Union paisible changed hands for GBP 55,250.00 (€ 58,028.58) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolas Bernard Lépicié - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Louis-Philippe, Duc De Valois, Au Berceau, which sold at auction in September 2015 for EUR 231,000.00.
