Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Royal Giraffe by Nicolas Huet was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2007. The price achieved of USD 39,000.00 (€ 30,004.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolas Huet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Tiger, which sold at auction in January 2007 for USD 108,000.00 (€ 83,089.71).

Die Arbeit The Royal Giraffe von Nicolas Huet kam im Januar 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 39.000,00 (€ 30.004,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Huet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Tiger beobachtet, die im Januar 2007 für USD 108.000,00 (€ 83.089,71) versteigert wurde.
