Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nikos Hadjikiriakos-Ghika achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in May 2021. In the The Greek Sale auction, the work Country Café I sold for EUR 87,812.50 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nikos Hadjikiriakos-Ghika have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek mistras in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 445,250.00 (€ 532,073.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nikos Hadjikiriakos-Ghika erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Greek Sale wurde die Arbeit Country Café I für EUR 87.812,50 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nikos Hadjikiriakos-Ghika auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek mistras im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 445.250,00 (€ 532.073,07).
