Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Bleue) by Omar El-Nagdi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections auction at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 15,250.00 (€ 17,904.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Omar El-Nagdi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Cavalier in November this year with an auction result of GBP 216,300.00 (€ 250,644.66).
