Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Blue Streak. by Otto Piene was sold in the German Post War | ONLINE ONLY auction at VAN HAM in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,254.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Piene achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dynamisches Volumen in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 825,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Blue Streak. von Otto Piene wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion German Post War | ONLINE ONLY bei VAN HAM versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.254,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Piene erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dynamisches Volumen im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 825.000,00.
