This artwork by Pablo Picasso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2019. In the Picasso Ceramics Online auction, the work Chouetton (A.R. 135) sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,155.86) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Picasso erzielte im März 2019 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Picasso Ceramics Online wurde die Arbeit Chouetton (A.R. 135) für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.155,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
