Reproductions couleurs de 29 dessins de l’artiste (comme toujours, reports des illustrations, quelques piqûres). Un des 150 exemplaires de tête sur vélin pur fil Johannot, les seuls à comprendre la lithographie originale, celui-ci le n°XLII.
Quarto (282 x 222 mm). Beige wove wrappers with lettering on the front cover. First edition. 1 transfer lithograph by Pablo Picasso, only included in the deluxe copies. Reproductions in colour of 29 drawings by the artist (as always, some offsetting from the reproductions, slight spotting). One of the 150 deluxe copies on Johannot pur fil wove, this copy numbered XLII.

In the ANNIE ET JEAN DALSACE, Les collections de la Maison de Verre auction, the work Le Visage De La Paix. Paris : Éditions Cercle D’Art, 1951 sold for EUR 5,625.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Picasso erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ANNIE ET JEAN DALSACE, Les collections de la Maison de Verre wurde die Arbeit Le Visage De La Paix. Paris : Éditions Cercle D’Art, 1951 für EUR 5.625,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
