Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%

This artwork by Pablo Picasso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2018. In the Picasso Ceramics - Online auction, the work Nature morte (A.R. 219) sold for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,428.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Picasso erzielte im Juni 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Picasso Ceramics - Online wurde die Arbeit Nature morte (A.R. 219) für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.428,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
