The work Neptune foncé (A.R. 580) by Pablo Picasso was sold in the Picasso Ceramics auction at Christies in New York in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,080.00 (€ 9,393.35), 68% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Neptune foncé (A.R. 580) von Pablo Picasso wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Picasso Ceramics bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 9.393,35) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
