Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price

The work Picador (A.R. 160) by Pablo Picasso was worth GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,243.76) to a buyer in February 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Picasso Ceramics Online at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Die Arbeit Picador (A.R. 160) von Pablo Picasso war einem Käufer im Februar 2020 GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.243,76) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Picasso Ceramics Online bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen.
