Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June last year Sothebys in New York held the auction Picasso Prints & Ceramics Online, which included the work Picasso Peintures 1955 - 1956 (Bloch 837; Mourlot 298; Cramer Books 85) by Pablo Picasso. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,386.00 (€ 1,323.91), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Picasso Prints & Ceramics Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Picasso Peintures 1955 - 1956 (Bloch 837; Mourlot 298; Cramer Books 85) von Pablo Picasso zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.386,00 (€ 1.323,91) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
