The work Profile of a Woman (M. 82; B. 436) by Pablo Picasso was sold in the PICASSO LITHOGRAPHS: THEMES AND VARIATIONS auction at Christies in New York in April 2003. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,572.50 (€ 5,352.20), 64% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
