The work Scène de tauromachie (A.R. 241) by Pablo Picasso was sold in the Picasso Ceramics auction at Christies in London in June 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,405.83), 61% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 61 % übertroffen

Die Arbeit Scène de tauromachie (A.R. 241) von Pablo Picasso wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Picasso Ceramics bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.405,83) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
