From the edition of 500, inscribed 'Edition Picasso' in black paint, with the Madoura Plein Feu and Edition Picasso pottery stamps on the reverse.

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The work Toros (Bulls) (A.R. 161) by Pablo Picasso was auctioned at Phillips in London in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,286.00 (€ 2,648.98). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Die Arbeit Toros (Bulls) (A.R. 161) von Pablo Picasso kam im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.286,00 (€ 2.648,98) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
