Auction result well in line with expectations

In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Picasso Ceramics, which included the work Visage de femme (A.R. 220) by Pablo Picasso. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,113.13) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im November 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Picasso Ceramics durch, in der auch die Arbeit Visage de femme (A.R. 220) von Pablo Picasso zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.113,13) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
