Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pablo Picasso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2007. In the Picasso - Ceramics & Prints auction, the work Visage no.130 sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 6,282.79) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Picasso erzielte im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Picasso - Ceramics & Prints wurde die Arbeit Visage no.130 für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 6.282,79) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
