Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Reclining dog by Paolo Troubetzkoy for GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,674.27). This price was achieved in the auction The Russian Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paolo Troubetzkoy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of the Minister of Finance Sergei Yulyevich Witte (1849-1915) with His Setter in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 132,971.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Reclining dog von Paolo Troubetzkoy für GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.674,27) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Russian Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paolo Troubetzkoy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of the Minister of Finance Sergei Yulyevich Witte (1849-1915) with His Setter im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 110.500,00 (€ 132.971,96).
