Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vue du jardin de Renoir à Montmartre (Château des Brouillards) by Pierre-Auguste Renoir was sold in the Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection auction at Christies in Paris in June this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 75,600.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Berthe Morisot et sa fille, Julie Manet in May last year with an auction result of USD 24,435,000.00 (€ 22,770,478.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vue du jardin de Renoir à Montmartre (Château des Brouillards) von Pierre-Auguste Renoir wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 75.600,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre-Auguste Renoir erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Berthe Morisot et sa fille, Julie Manet im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 24.435.000,00 (€ 22.770.478,05).
