Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Signe magique by Pierre Tal-Coat was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 22,812.50. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre Tal-Coat - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans titre, which sold at auction in December last year for EUR 50,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Signe magique von Pierre Tal-Coat kam im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 22.812,50 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre Tal-Coat mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans titre beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für EUR 50.400,00 versteigert wurde.
