Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures by a fire, in an interior by Pieter de Bloot was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2012. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,166.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter de Bloot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peasants making merry outside an inn in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 169,000.00.

Die Arbeit Figures by a fire, in an interior von Pieter de Bloot kam im Juni 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.166,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter de Bloot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peasants making merry outside an inn im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 169.000,00.
