In October 2013 Christies in Paris held the auction Rendez-vous intérieurs classiques, which included the work Huit Planches Aquarellées De Volcans En Éruption Provenant De L'Ouvrage 'Campi Phlegraei. Observations On The Volcanoes Of The Two Sicilies As They Have Been Communicated To The Royal Society Of London' Par Sir William Hamilton by Pietro Fabris. The price achieved of EUR 6,875.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Fabris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Carnival In Naples In 1778, With The 'Cavalcata Turca' Parading Through The Largo Di Palazzo in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 782,500.00 (€ 941,226.14).
