Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Mulongoy Pili Pili achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2021. In the African Modern Art auction, the work Sans Titre sold for EUR 26,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mulongoy Pili Pili; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Simba (Le Lion En Swahili) sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of EUR 45,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mulongoy Pili Pili erzielte im März 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion African Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre für EUR 26.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mulongoy Pili Pili; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Simba (Le Lion En Swahili) im November 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 45.500,00.
