In November 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy in Running Script by Pu Ru. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,403.03), 48% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Ru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album of Paintings and Calligraphy in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 21,725,000.00 (€ 2,380,265.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48 % übertroffen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Pu Ru zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.403,03) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Ru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album of Paintings and Calligraphy im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.725.000,00 (€ 2.380.265,84).
