Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Calligraphy In Running Script by Pu Ru. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 36,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,318.71). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Ru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album of Paintings and Calligraphy in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 21,725,000.00 (€ 2,380,265.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Pu Ru zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 36.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.318,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Ru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album of Paintings and Calligraphy im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.725.000,00 (€ 2.380.265,84).
