Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pu Ru achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Calligraphy in Running Script sold for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,700.65) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Ru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album of Paintings and Calligraphy in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 21,725,000.00 (€ 2,380,265.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pu Ru erzielte im Mai 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.700,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Ru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album of Paintings and Calligraphy im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.725.000,00 (€ 2.380.265,84).
