Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Pu Ru was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,153.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Ru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album of Paintings and Calligraphy in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 21,725,000.00 (€ 2,380,265.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Pu Ru wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.153,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Ru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album of Paintings and Calligraphy im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.725.000,00 (€ 2.380.265,84).
