Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2004 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape by Pu Ru. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 83,650.00 (€ 8,426.69), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Ru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album of Paintings and Calligraphy in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 21,725,000.00 (€ 2,380,265.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Pu Ru zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 83.650,00 (€ 8.426,69) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Ru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album of Paintings and Calligraphy im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.725.000,00 (€ 2.380.265,84).
