Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Lotus by Pu Ru. The price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,523.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 9,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Ru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album of Paintings and Calligraphy in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 21,725,000.00 (€ 2,380,265.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lotus von Pu Ru zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.523,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 9.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Ru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album of Paintings and Calligraphy im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.725.000,00 (€ 2.380.265,84).
