Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Takashi Murakami'S Nightmare by Pure Evil was sold in the TAKE IT TO THE STREETS: Auction to benefit HOCA Foundation auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2017. The price achieved of HKD 11,875.00 (€ 1,264.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 16,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pure Evil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre - 2015 in May 2015 with an auction result of EUR 8,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Takashi Murakami'S Nightmare von Pure Evil wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion TAKE IT TO THE STREETS: Auction to benefit HOCA Foundation bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 11.875,00 (€ 1.264,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 16.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pure Evil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2015 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.000,00.
