In December last year Christies in Paris held the auction Art d'Asie, which included the work Calligraphie by Qi Gong. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 35,280.00 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qi Gong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eight Characters Calligraphic Couplet In Standard Script in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,375,000.00 (€ 568,179.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art d'Asie durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphie von Qi Gong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 35.280,00 und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qi Gong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eight Characters Calligraphic Couplet In Standard Script im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.375.000,00 (€ 568.179,02).
