Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Qian Songyan. It changed hands for a price of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 40,167.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qian Songyan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scenery Of Huang Yang Jie in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 400,044.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Qian Songyan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 40.167,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Songyan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scenery Of Huang Yang Jie im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 400.044,82).
