Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage Rouge by Rafael Monzó was sold in the British and Continental Pictures auction at Christies in London in October 2002. The price achieved of GBP 376.00 (€ 594.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Rafael Monzó have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pescadores Y Barcas in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,187.15).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 376,00 (€ 594,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rafael Monzó auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pescadores Y Barcas im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.187,15).
