Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In October 2000 Christies in London held the auction Islamic and Oriental Works of Art, which included the work Noah'S Ark by Ramesh Sharma. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 940.00 (€ 1,606.73), 18% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ramesh Sharma have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,898.97) in October 2001 for the work Deers head axe.

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im Oktober 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion Islamic and Oriental Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Noah'S Ark von Ramesh Sharma zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 940,00 (€ 1.606,73) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Ramesh Sharma haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.898,97) im Oktober 2001 für die Arbeit Deers head axe beobachtet.
