Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction An Exquisite Collection of Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Riding Horse by Ren Xun. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 11,500.00 (€ 1,091.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Xun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phoenix in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 68,338.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion An Exquisite Collection of Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Riding Horse von Ren Xun zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 11.500,00 (€ 1.091,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Xun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phoenix im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 68.338,71).
