This artwork by Richard Zommer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2007. In the Russian Art auction, the work Street Scene, Samarkand, Turkestan sold for GBP 38,400.00 (€ 56,983.67) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Richard Zommer; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Gate of Kashmir sold at auction in October this year with the realized price of GBP 95,650.00 (€ 109,832.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Zommer erzielte im Juni 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Art wurde die Arbeit Street Scene, Samarkand, Turkestan für GBP 38.400,00 (€ 56.983,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Richard Zommer; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Gate of Kashmir im Oktober diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 95.650,00 (€ 109.832,77).
