In October 2004 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work Grapes on a stone ledge with citrus fruits in a basket by Roelof Koets. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 19,120.00 (€ 27,518.94), 59% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roelof Koets - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A banquet with cheese and fruit on pewter plates, a basket of grapes, apples in a Wan-Li Kraak porcelain bowl, and bread and glasses on a draped table, which sold at auction in March 2017 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 80,568.21).

Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grapes on a stone ledge with citrus fruits in a basket von Roelof Koets zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 19.120,00 (€ 27.518,94) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Roelof Koets mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A banquet with cheese and fruit on pewter plates, a basket of grapes, apples in a Wan-Li Kraak porcelain bowl, and bread and glasses on a draped table beobachtet, die im März 2017 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 80.568,21) versteigert wurde.
