Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work A View of A Farm With A Figure Harvesting by Roland Oudot for USD 2,400.00 (€ 2,035.62). This price was achieved in the auction THE HOUSE SALE at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Roland Oudot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paysage d'Arcadie in May 2004 with an auction result of EUR 12,925.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A View of A Farm With A Figure Harvesting von Roland Oudot für USD 2.400,00 (€ 2.035,62) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roland Oudot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paysage d'Arcadie im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.925,00.
