This artwork by S. Sudjojono achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Kami Present, Ibu Pertiwi (Stand Guard For Our Motherland) sold for HKD 6,980,000.00 (€ 606,587.95) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 3,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by S. Sudjojono have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pasukan Kita Yang Dipimpin Pangeran Diponegoro (Our Soldiers Led Under Prince Diponegoro) in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 58,360,000.00 (€ 5,427,858.69).

Dieses Kunstwerk von S. Sudjojono erzielte im April 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings wurde die Arbeit Kami Present, Ibu Pertiwi (Stand Guard For Our Motherland) für HKD 6.980.000,00 (€ 606.587,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 3.000.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von S. Sudjojono auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pasukan Kita Yang Dipimpin Pangeran Diponegoro (Our Soldiers Led Under Prince Diponegoro) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 58.360.000,00 (€ 5.427.858,69).
