Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Nude In A Red Scarf by Samuel Granovsky. The price achieved of GBP 11,875 (€ 13,860) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as GBP 10,000 - 15,000. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Samuel Granovsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seated Nude, which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 23,750 (€ 28,716).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude In A Red Scarf von Samuel Granovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875 (€ 13.860) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000 – 15.000 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Samuel Granovsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seated Nude beobachtet, die im November 2008 für GBP 23.750 (€ 28.716) versteigert wurde.
