Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Drame au Village by Syed Haider Raza was sold in the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 214,200.00 (€ 182,406.54). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Syed Haider Raza achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tapovan in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 4,452,500.00 (€ 3,614,042.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Drame au Village von Syed Haider Raza wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 214.200,00 (€ 182.406,54) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Syed Haider Raza erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tapovan im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.452.500,00 (€ 3.614.042,21).
