Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of The Artists Brother, Adham Wanly by Seif Wanly for GBP 1,530.00 (€ 1,782.45). This price was achieved in the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Seif Wanly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March last year with an auction result of GBP 94,500.00 (€ 112,040.39).
