This artwork by Sergei Sudeikin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2018. In the Russian Art auction, the work Three Commedia dell'arte costume designs: Jester, Pantalone and Captain sold for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,428.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergei Sudeikin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Panels for the Cabaret Prival Komediantov in Petrograd in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 680,500.00 (€ 792,959.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sergei Sudeikin erzielte im Juni 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Art wurde die Arbeit Three Commedia dell'arte costume designs: Jester, Pantalone and Captain für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.428,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sergei Sudeikin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Panels for the Cabaret Prival Komediantov in Petrograd im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 680.500,00 (€ 792.959,40).
