It achieved a price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,628.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Admittedly, works by Serge Marshennikov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Harem Dreams in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 21,600.00 (€ 32,076.68).

Die Arbeit Summer's morning von Serge Marshennikov wurde im Januar 2009 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.628,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Serge Marshennikov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Harem Dreams im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.600,00 (€ 32.076,68).
