Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Listening To The Qin In A Boat Amidst Reeds by Sha Fu for USD 1,250.00 (€ 937.45). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Sha Fu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figures After Old Masters in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,604.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Listening To The Qin In A Boat Amidst Reeds von Sha Fu für USD 1.250,00 (€ 937,45) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sha Fu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figures After Old Masters im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.604,37).
